Tibetan and Nepalese jewelry is carefully handcrafted in the Kathmandu valley of Nepal. Around the 11th century, Nepal and Tibet had very strong trading bond that resulted in a traditional handmade artisan beads. These artisans are also known as Newar. They designed inlay beads and jewelry for big monasteries and a few decades later, the Tibetan people. Most of the Nepalese jewelry use turquoise and coral, which have their own meaning in Nepal. Turquoise jewelry represents the blue sky and brings infinite love and peace into your life. Coral represents sun and means living a long life. MEASURING YOUR WRIST FOR AN ACCURATE BRACELET SIZE

To find your perfect bracelet size, follow these steps:

STEP 1: Measure your wrist with a flexible tape measure or a strip of paper just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear the bracelet.
STEP 2: If you are using a plain strip of paper, mark your size with a pen or pencil then use a ruler to measure the length. That would be your wrist size.
STEP 3: To find your bracelet size, just add your wrist size with the appropriate measurements below.

14″ NECKLACE
Fits most like a choker
16″ NECKLACE
Falls perfectly around the base of the neck like a collar. On a petite woman, it will hit your collarbone while for plus size women it might feel more like a choker.
18″ NECKLACE
A common choice for women that will fall just below the throat at the collarbone. This length is popular for adding pendants which will hang over a crew neck.
20″ NECKLACE
Will fall a few inches below the collarbone and allow a little more breathing room. Perfect for a low, plunging neckline or if you want to wear it over a turtleneck.

Falls at or above a low neckline.

Jewelry Care

It is normal for natural gemstones stones to fade or change color over time due to body oils and other environmental factors. Though we strive to use the most durable metals, they can also tarnish and fade over time.

To help them retain their color and lustre, please consider the following:

Avoid:

Be careful of chemicals, such as cologne, perfume, creams and cleaning products as they can change, stain or fade your jewelry.
Wearing gemstones in water is not recommended.
Certain stones will fade if left out in the sunlight too long (especially when cleansing and clearing).

Cleaning:

You can use a soft cloth to polish and clean the metals and gemstones. Be careful with commercial products which can harm or scratch your stones.
For pieces with wood you can apply a small amount of coconut oil or sandalwood oil to keep the beads from drying out due to moisture (sweat, humidity, etc.).
