Labradorite
"Magic is believing in yourself. If you can do that, you can make anything happen." -
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Labradorite is named after the place where it was first found, which is in Labrador, Canada. Lore of the Inuit peoples claim Labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis.
Labradorite is considered the "Stone of Magic, "Bringer Of Light" and "Stone Of Transformation".
For self-discovery, it is excellent for awakening one's own awareness of inner spirit and intuition. It is also the most powerful protector of the mineral kingdom, creating a shielding force throughout the aura and strengthening natural energies from within. In relationships, Labradorite brings out the best in people. It encourages courtesy and full attention to the other person.
Labradorite calms an overactive mind and energizes the imagination, bringing in new ideas, thoughts and enhancing creativity and clarity of the mind. It is a wonderful stone for returning joy and spontaneity back to one's life and helps eliminate the emotional drain of daily routine or being weighed down by responsibility. It awakens a sense of adventure, change and transformation.
